The European University Georgia with its diverse students services. teaching quality and practice oriented delivery serves both Georgian and international student communities. All prospective students of Medical Doctor’s (MD) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) programs must apply through the Office of Administration.
According to Georgian regulations,foreign citizens who conform to the following can enrol in the programs of European University without passing Georgian National Examinations (compulsory for Georgian citizens).
Medical Doctor’s (MD) educational program
Preconditions to enrollment in a single-step Medical Doctor’s (MD) educational program (without National examinations):
Applicants must be Foreign citizens and stateless persons who have received secondary or equivalent education in a foreign country;
Applicants must be individuals who currently study / have studied in a foreign country and have received credits at an academic institution recognized under the laws of that country.
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
Preconditions to enrollment in a single-step Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) educational program (without National examinations):
Persons that are identified in the Article 52 Paragraph 3 of the Georgian Law of Higher Education:
European University Georgia– Faculty of Medicine has clinical practice agreements with many top Georgian hospitals and medical centres. As far as teaching at the faculty is practice oriented, we try to help students to have more clinical experiences just at the start when they can simply observe and assist the doctors in clinics.

Government: Georgia is a republic with executive, legislative and judicial branches. Unicameral Parliament consisting of 150 members (75 elected by party list and 75 by single-member districts). The President appoints the cabinet, subject to approval by the legislature. There is universal suffrage for all those aged 18 and over.
EU & Georgia: Georgia signed a Partnership and Co-operation Agreement (PCA) with the EU in July 1999. In 2006, Georgia signed up to a five-year European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) Action Plan, which aims to fulfill the conditions set out in the PCA and contribute to closer political and economic co-operation between Georgia and the EU.
